Hello to anyone who's following my continuing research -
please link to the site as I continue to disclose my history over the decades.
My name will no doubt vary through time, but I start my journey being known simply as Broom Grove, Near Sheffield.
My exact build date is still to be disclosed, but is rumoured to be around 1836. Through this site I will start to collate the mass volume of online information, official documentation and newspaper articles, and hopefully the memories and snapshots in time of the people who shared their lives within my walls.
Today, I am home to the Sheffield company of Architects and Engineers Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson Limited, but back in the 1830’s, I was eagerly awaiting to welcome through my front door, the family of John Jones, Esq.
